The authors published in the collection have witnessed the crimes perpetrated by the nazis and their collaboraters. They were deported, interned or hidden, or participated in the Jewish resistance, in France or in other countries. The manuscripts, until then unpublished or unavailable, are proposed by their authors or right holders. Each narrative is examined by a reading comittee, which ensures both its scientific and moral quality.
