We are determined to act
In 2023, the Fondation pour la Mémoire de la Shoah supported 368 projects in six areas: research, remembrance, teaching, Jewish culture, aid for Holocaust survivors and the fight against anti-Semitism.
The FMS has allocated more than 20 million euros in aid to these projects, in particular to the Shoah Memorial, a permanent partner of the Foundation.
2022
A smooth transition
In 2022, the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah supported 313 projects in six areas: research, memory, teaching, Jewish culture, aid for Holocaust survivors and the fight against anti-Semitism.
The FMS has allocated more than 18 million euros in aid to these projects in 2022 and in particular to the Shoah Memorial, a permanent partner of the Foundation.
2021
Faced with uncertainty, knowing how to adapt
In 2021, the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah supported 245 projects in six areas: research, memory, teaching, Jewish culture, aid for Holocaust survivors and the fight against anti-Semitism.
Permanent partner of the Shoah Memorial, the FMS has allocated more than 17 million euros in aid in 2021.

2014
Memory and commitment
In 2014, the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah supported 252 projects with the aim of deepening knowledge of the Shoah, helping survivors in difficulty and transmitting the heritage of Jewish culture.
The Foundation also remains the primary financial partner of the Shoah Memorial, in Paris and Drancy.
In total, the aid we allocated in 2014 amounts to 24 million euros.
2013
An in-depth work that is more essential than ever
In 2013, the Foundation supported 232 projects with the aim of deepening knowledge of the Shoah, helping survivors in difficulty and transmitting the heritage of Jewish culture.
The Foundation also remains the primary financial partner of the Shoah Memorial in Paris and Drancy.
In total, the aid allocated in 2013 amounts to 22.7 million euros.
2012
Moving forward through renewal
In 2012, the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah supported 243 projects. In total, the aid we have allocated amounts to 18.8 million euros.
On September 21, 2012, the President of the Republic François Hollande inaugurated the new Shoah Memorial in Drancy, the most important project initiated by the Foundation.

Continue our actions despite a turbulent context
In 2011, the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah supported 217 projects. In total, the aid we have allocated amounts to 15.4 million euros.
2010
A responsability to past, present and future generations
In 2010, the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah supported 245 projects. In total, the aid we have allocated amounts to 20.7 million euros.
The 10th anniversary of the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah is an opportunity to recall the action of the Foundation over the last ten years, and the way in which it has carried out its statutory missions.

Stay faithful and vigilant
In 2007, the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah supported 248 projects. In total, the aid we have allocated amounts to nearly 16.7 million euros.
2006
Maintining direction
In 2006, the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah supported 277 projects. In total, the aid we have allocated amounts to 22.5 million euros.
On the initiative of the Foundation and at the personal request of its president Simone Veil, the President of the Republic Jacques Chirac honored the memory of the Righteous of France on January 18, 2007 during a ceremony at the Pantheon.
2005
60 years after the liberation of the camps
In 2005, the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah supported 351 projects. In total, the aid we have allocated amounts to 19.5 million euros.
After three years of work, the new Shoah Memorial was inaugurated on January 25, 2005 by the President of the Republic Jacques Chirac. The Foundation provides the Memorial with a large part of its resources.
2004
Understanding the specific nature of the Shoah
In 2004, the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah supported 185 projects. In total, the aid we have allocated amounts to 15.9 million euros.
2003
Strengthening our activity
In 2003, the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah supported 165 projects. In total, the aid we have allocated amounts to nearly 14.1 million euros.

Remembrance, an essential mission for the Foundation
In 2001-2002, the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah supported 84 projects.
