K. Jews, Europe, 21st Century / European review

Founded in 2021 by journalists and academics, the online journal K. Jews, Europe, the 21st Century analyses contemporary antisemitism and the Jewish condition on a European scale, combining reporting, essays, interviews, and historical perspectives. In 2026, it launched a completely redesigned website, strengthening its multilingual edition and the accessibility of its content, and expanding its event recordings.

Online

K. Jews, Europe, 21st Century is a weekly online journal founded in 2021 by academics and journalists. It is currently the only media outlet to address the Jewish condition on the scale of the European diaspora, in constant dialogue with the American diaspora and Israel. Three articles are published each week in open access, in a variety of formats: reports, investigations, opinion pieces, interviews, and essays.

Since its creation, the journal has established itself as a leading editorial platform dedicated to analysing contemporary Jewish realities, viewed as a privileged lens through which to observe Europe’s political, cultural, and democratic transformations. In four years, it has published more than 450 articles, written by around one hundred authors from some twenty countries, and has reached over 500,000 readers.

In 2026, K. significantly renewed its online presence with the launch of a new website designed to support the growth and diversification of its content. This redesign offers clearer, more fluid navigation, making it easier to access articles, thematic features, and archives, while improving reading comfort.

In addition to written formats, podcasts and audio content have now been developed, extending the articles and reaching new audiences.

True to its European vocation, K. has developed a multilingual edition. The journal is now available in six languages: French, English, Spanish, Italian, German, and Portuguese.

A free newsletter is sent every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. for the French edition, featuring the editorial, the week’s articles, and information about ticket sales for events organised by K.

The journal regularly organises public evenings, conferences, and debates, held both in person and online, extending the discussions initiated in its pages.

It also develops film clubs and screening-debates, often aimed at teachers and the educational community, focusing on films related to Jewish history, the Shoah, antisemitism, and contemporary issues.

Through its new website, linguistic openness, diversity of formats, and commitment to cultural and educational initiatives, K. pursues a clear ambition: to produce innovative and rigorous academic and journalistic work in response to the rising tide of antisemitism.
