Journée internationale à la mémoire des victimes de la Shoah - 27 janvier 2008

In 2005, the United Nations passed a resolution that January 27th (the date that Auschwitz was liberated) would be henceforward an annual international day of remembrance of the victims of the Holocaust. Every year since then numerous events take place enabling the public to commemorate the victims of the Shoah. The Foundation is supporting a day of commemoration which takes place at UNESCO in Paris as well as an event at the Mairie de Paris on the theme of children and the Shoah.
